Baramohanpur Bhagabati Devi Nari Kalyan Samity was established in 1998 with sole objective of Providing various social works, education and educational training to rural students. The main objective of this society is to develop socially to create awareness among the common people and to spread education through continuous efforts. It aims at social, cultural, economical and educational development in every sphere. One of our many fruits is the establishment of Bhagabati Devi Primary Teachers' Training Institute.
Realising pervasive lacuna in teaching learning methodology followed by each and every primary teachers more or less, Bhagabati Devi Primary Teachers' Training Institute, having been buoyed up with aspiring hope to give rise to consciousness among would-be teachers has been scattering the dazzling wave of the light of education length and breadth leaving no stone unturned. It was on 15th August 2003 our journey began. Since then, Bhagabati Devi Primary Teachers' Training Institute, an illustrious name in the realm of elementary teacher education programme is going on inspiring the students, not only that but also, upgrading the students through proper training. For all-round development of the trainees' various types of programmes are arranged throughout the year. This Institute was recognized by NCTE and approved by the West Bengal Board of primary Education.
The Institution has got recognition as a 2 years training course in the name of Diploma in Elementary Education programme by NCTE and has been affiliated by WBBPE from the session 2009-10. A significant event in the history of the college in 2017 was the commencement of NCTE and university {Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University {Erstwhile The West Bengal University of Teachers' Training, Education Planning and Administration)} approved BEd course.
In 2020 under the supervision of the institutional laboratory school has been set up which is an applicative place for the trainees to apply their theoretical knowledge.
This rural institution plays leading role to spread the light of education, culture, research, innovation and so on in the greater field, not restraining itself among the trainees.
